Hardwood Flooring
Adding hardwood floors to your home is an excellent way of adding beauty, durability, and a touch of elegance to your home for a very long time to come. We understand how important it is to have attractive and well-functioning flooring in your home, so we ensure that we only sell the absolute highest quality flooring in our show-room. Hardwood floors can come in all kinds of different species, colors, styles, and sizes. Different floors that come from different climates will have different different harnesses, feels, and looks. Hardwood creates a feeling and appearance in a room that other types of flooring can only attempt to emulate. Your floors are, literally & figuratively, the aesthetic base of your rooms. Hardwood floors are the go-to attractive flooring option. But they also have a very long lifespan, they’ll last for years and years in your home. In opposition to laminate or other artificial floorings that are made to LOOK natural, our hardwood floors are 100% natural and made entirely of high quality timbers. The hardwood floors we sell are generally a lifetime product – they’ll be with you and your home for the long haul.
Wood Floor Cleaning & Maintenace
You can trust without a doubt, once you have the hardwood flooring you bought from our showroom installed, it will look absolutely wonderful. But over time, things like scuffs and spills will begin to take a toll. As tough as hardwood floors are, you do need to take regular care of them. The more little things you know about maintaining your hardwood floors, the cleaner you can keep them and they longer they’ll look good! Our first big point that you need to remember, your entranceways are the first line of defense. Strategically placed rugs and mats can collect a lot of dirt that could end up on, or scratch your floors. It may sound like common sense, but make sure you use rugs meant for hardwoods and that you clean them off regularly. If you’ve ever beat out a rug you know just how much dirt they can collect.
Make sure you have decent cleaning tools in your home, a nice vacuum and broom alone can hold a lot of cleaning power. You should be able to get most stubborn messes up with a moist cloth and some scrubbing. One thing you do want to AVOID is using copious amounts of water on your floor. If you have any bigger messes and need deep cleaning, make sure you call in a pro so you don’t accidentally cause any further damage to your floor. You’ll want to avoid anything sharp or pointed on your floors like wearing heels or long pet claws, as they can easily cause scratches. Common sense goes a long way with taking care of your hardwood floors.
